The ACTOR

Jerry has been seen on numerous stages in the Greater Boston area since his move to Boston in the late ‘70’s. As a member of Actor’s Equity, he has performed at some of the top regional theatres (Speakeasy Stage Company, The Publick Theatre, Worcester Foothills Theatre, Stoneham Theatre, to name a few) Favorite roles include Don Quixote in Man of LaMancha, Detective Stone in City of Angels, Billy Flynn in Chicago, Ash in Dealer’s Choice, and Jack Kerouac in Kerouac’s Last Call, which he performed in Jack’s hometown of Lowell, MA. 

 

Recent film acting includes the role of Bruce Halperin his own screenplay Memories For Sale (www.memoriesforsalefilm.com) an appearance in David O. Russel’s American Hustle, and many local TV commercials, recently for Atlantic Broadband, Emerson Hospital, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, and WB Mason.

A singer as well, Jerry was the lead singer in a wedding band in the 1980’s and survived. He performed his own cabaret act at Sculler’s Jazz Club in Boston, The Kendall Café, and many private parties. From Sinatra to Van Halen… he has probably sung ‘em!’

In addition to his successful career as an actor, Jerry Bisantz is also an avid hiker and mountain climber. He has a deep passion for exploring nature and enjoys challenging himself physically by climbing mountains and hiking long distances. Jerry has hiked many of the stunning trails throughout New England.

He sees hiking and climbing as a way to connect with nature, challenge himself, and stay physically fit. Jerry’s love for the outdoors is a significant part of his life, and he continues to seek out new challenges and adventures in the mountains.
